2011 Student Research Grant Recipients


During 2011, the Student Grant Committee received applications for 19 research proposals from 13 colleges and universities. The committee, consisting of Danny W. Harrelson (Chairman), John Marble, Terry Panhorst, and Tom McGehee, reviewed proposals from the students and made recommendations for funding 16 projects. The recommendations were approved by the Board of Directors at the GCAGS mid-year meeting in April and a total of $22,500.00 was granted to the awardees. The student grant recipients, their school and topic, and individual awards are listed below.
