2009 Student Research Grant Recipients


During 2009, the Student Grant Committee received applications for 26 research proposals (12 Doctorate, 10 Masters, and 4 Bachelors) from 17 colleges and universities. The committee, consisting of Danny W. Harrelson (Chairman), John Marble, and Tom Mcgehee, reviewed proposals from the students and made recommendations for funding 18 projects. The recommendations were approved by the Board of Directors at the GCAGS Mid-Year Meeting in April and a total of $25,500.00 was granted to the awardees. The student grant recipients, their topic/school and individual awards are listed below.
